I'm James Jones — a professional emcee and live event host from Austin, Texas, with over fifteen years of experience performing in front of large crowds across sports entertainment, youth programming, and live events.

Right now, I'm the emcee for the Austin Spurs (NBA G League), the Round Rock Express (Triple-A Baseball), and the AUSL affiliate, the Texas Volts. Basically, if there's a crowd in Texas that needs moving, there's a pretty good chance I'm already on my way.

My background is a little unconventional — I was a nationally ranked collegiate mascot (8th in the country, 2017), a show choir performer with an Outstanding Performance award, and a YMCA camp counselor whose energy at a free-throw competition got me recruited by the Spurs. I didn't take a straight line to get here. But every stop gave me something I couldn't have learned anywhere else.

What I offer is pretty straightforward: commanding presence, real energy, and the ability to connect with any crowd — from a gym full of eight-year-olds to an arena packed with thousands of people who all want to feel something.
